Privacy Policy

If you require further information or have questions about our Privacy Policy, please feel free to contact us at: https://gpowerhost.com/gpower-support/

At GPowerHost, the privacy of our visitors is extremely important to us. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of personal information received and collected by GPowerHost and how it is used.

Reporting Abuse

GPowerHost does not send unsolicited, bulk email of any kind. We have a strict Anti-Spam Policy for all of our hosting clients. And we mean business!

We welcome any and all reports of email abuse. If you are receiving emails that you don’t want from one of our clients, hosted on one of our servers, we are happy to assist you in stopping that abuse. Or, if you want to be removed from a list you subscribed to we are happy to help you get removed from any list hosted on any of our servers for any reason (or for no reason at all).

There are two ways to contact us:

  1. Use our Contact Form at: https://gpowerhost.com/gpower-support/
  2. Send us an Abuse Complaint Email to: abuse@gpowerhost.com

We will take it from there! When reporting it would be most helpful if you could forward any email that originated from our servers that you no longer want to receive in the future with a little note like:

  • "Unsubscribe me@my-email.com" or
  • "I no longer want these at: me@my-email.com" or
  • "I never subscribed to this list from my account: me@my-email.com" etc.

REQUIRED INFO

When reporting abuse to us we MUST know:

  • the email address that sent you the email AND
  • the email address the email was sent to.

If you have your emails forwarded to a second email account like Gmail or Yahoo, bear in mind that the email might have been sent to either account so send us both addresses and we will search for and remove any occurrences of either. The more details you give us, the better we can investigate and permanently solve the issue for you.

What Happens When you Report Abuse

Generally, if we are successful in locating your email on a list we will remove it and you will not hear back from us. We don’t want to bother you further so, if you want a response–tell us. Otherwise, if you didn’t give us enough info or we couldn’t find you on a list (maybe it was just removed?) we will email you back and ask for more info. Most removal requests are handled within minutes. Those that require investigation could take up to one business day (or 72 hours if the request falls on a weekend or holiday). In rare cases, when the investigation takes time, you will receive an email back from us stating the status and an approximate timeframe for resolution. If we ask for more info, kindly respond or we may not be able to get results for you. If we find that one of our clients was SPAMMING, we can’t share what actions we take against that client. However, the more info you give us the better. No client is so important that we would keep them and allow them to ruin our good reputation. However, we need facts to act!

Log Files

Like most other Web sites, GPowerHost makes use of log files. The information inside the log files includes Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamps, referring and exit pages and the number of clicks. All of this data is used to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement around the site and gather demographic information. IP addresses and other such information are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.

Cookies

GPowerHost does use cookies to store information about visitor preferences, record user-specific information on which pages a user accesses or visits, customize web page content based on visitor browser type or other information that the visitor sends via their browser.

Google reCAPTCHA

ReCAPTCHA collects personal information from users to make this determination of whether they are human and not a bot to prevent SPAM. The reCAPTCHA algorithm checks to see if there is a Google cookie placed on the computer being used. An additional reCAPTCHA-specific cookie will then be added to the user’s browser allowing a complete snapshot of the user’s browser window at that moment in time.

Information gathered includes:

  • All cookies placed by Google over the last 6 months
  • How many mouse clicks you’ve made on that screen (or touches on a touch device)
  • The CSS information for that page
  • The date
  • The language your browser is set to
  • Any plugins you have installed on the browser
  • All Javascript objects

You can read Google’s Terms and privacy for more information.

GPowerHost has no access to, or control over, these cookies that are used by third-parties such as Google reCAPTCHA. You should consult the respective privacy policies of the above third-parties for more detailed information on their practices as well as for instructions about how to opt-out from certain practices. GPowerHost’s Privacy Policy does not apply to, and we cannot control the activities of, such other web sites. If you wish to disable cookies, you may do so through your browser options.
